She Was Homeless And Divorced, But Her Come Back Was Epic…
Macy Miller is an architect from Idaho, that always wanted her own place, but the sheer thought of a mortgage sickened her after she lost her home to foreclosure after getting divorced.
So, her dream home revolved around building a compact, but beautiful home.
For two years, Macy worked on the 196 square foot home, dedicating her free time to building the small paradise. Finally, construction has finished on her tiny hideaway….and it’s hard not to be jealous of this place.
After all, it only cost around $11,000
Macy didn’t have a lot of construction experience, but she didn’t let that stop her.
It took her years, but she made her dream come true..
She never gave up..
She found motivation after her divorce..
Not to mention her home foreclosure..
She was determined to make ‘Tiny House’ a reality, and avoid mortgages forever..
So the labour of love went on..
The most expensive part of the house was the composting toilet, which was around $2000,00!
She completed all of the wiring herself..wow!
During the build she fell of the roof and damaged her back, but even that didn’t break her spirit..
The tiny home is eco-friendly and highly efficient.
Every bit of space is fully utilised..
She built it on a flatbed so she could take this little masterpiece anywhere..
After getting divorced and losing her house due to foreclosure, Macy Miller has followed her dream and is free. We can’t help but respect that!
